Upravljanje z velikimi količinami podatkov (oziroma Bigdata) je včasih zahtevalo uporabo Hadoop gruče strežnikov in uporabo HDFS, kamor so se shranjevali datoteke. Sedaj se namesto HDFS uporablja Objet Storage, gruče strežnikov, in s tem paralelno obdelavo podatkov, pa še vedno imamo, vendar ima sedaj vsak storitev svojo gručo strežnikov.
Ogledali si bomo ključne OCI Big Data tehnologije: - OCI Streaming (Apache Kafka), - OCI Data Flow (Apache Spark), - OCI Open Search. Te tehnologije skupaj z relacijskimi tehnologijami - MySQL HeatWave, - Autonomous DB, - OCI GoldenGate in - OCI Data Integration (Cloud Native ETL) tvorijo kombinacijo Data Lake in Data Warehouse, torej Data Lakehouse. V okvir le-tega sodijo tudi orodja in tehnologije, ki omogočajo napredno analizo podatkov v smislu storitev umetne inteligence, podatkovne znanosti in strojnega učenja. Med slednjimi najdemo storitve OCI Data Science, OCI AI Services in OCI GoldenGate Stream Analytics. Ena sama in enotna platforma daje organizacijam tisto dodano vrednost, ki se je mogoče marsikdo sploh ne zaveda. Je pa osnova za uspešno digitalno transformacijo organizacij. Običajno je kalkulacija storitve v Oracle oblaku relativno enostavna, odvisna od časa uporabe ali količine podatkov. No, pri Oracle Integration Cloud je struktura cene kombinacija več dejavnikov. OCI je na voljo v treh edicijah – Standard (0,6€), Enterprise (1,19€) in Healtcare (1,8€) za Message Pack. Osnova obračuna je Message Pack, ki vsebuje 5000 sporočil na uro. Če je več kot 5000 sporočil, je to dodaten Message Pack. Sporočilo je Event oziroma začetek aktivnosti, s količino podatkov do 50kB. Večja količina podatkov je dodatno sporočilo, prav tako k število sporočil prispevajo Process Automation (400 sporočil) in Visual Builder (100 sporočil) uporabniki. Interni procesi ne štejejo, razen če je količina podatkov večja kot 50kB. Skratka, OIC ni mišljen za ETL procese, ampak za Application, API ali procesno integracijo.

Osnova sta Python paketa OCI in OCI-CLI Pip instalirana in skupaj z API ključem in OCID identifikacijo omogočajo kreiranje, spreminjanje, dviganje in spuščanje OCI storitev. OCI CLI pokaže pravo moč koncepta »Software-Defined Data Center« . OCI CLI je odlično orodje za upravljanje in kreiranje manjšega števila komponent, za masovno kreiranje komponent pa je primernejši Terraform, ''de facto'' standard za kreiranje (provisioning) oblačnih storitev v Azure,AWS,GCP in OCI. Na predavanju si bomo ogledali različne Generative AI storitve, ki jih omogoča Oracle OCI oblak. Na prvem mestu je "Generative AI" storitev, ki temelji na LLama 3.1,3.2 in 3.3 ali Cohere R/R+ modelih. Ti modeli omogočajo klepet, sumarizacijo in vektorizacijo (Embeddings) teksta (in slik, LLama 3.2). Aplikacijo, ki uporablja te modele, recimo RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), je potrebno narediti, aplikacija lahko teče lokalno ali v oblaku in uporablja lokalne dokumente, ki so podlaga za RAG. Z RAG "pomagamo" LLM-ju , da generira relevantno vsebino, ki temelji na naših dokumentih. Naslednja storitev je "Generative AI Agents", kjer je RAG cevovod deloma že narejen kot storitev, potrebujemo le Object Storage ter Open Search oziroma Oracle 23ai vektorsko bazo, kamor shranimo vektorje narejene iz naših dokumentov. Največjo fleksibilnost pa omogoča OCI Datascience Quick Actions, kjer nam storitev pomaga, da iz Hugging Face prenesemo poljuben "Foundation"LLM model, v okviru Datascience najamemo GPU in izvedemo Fine tuning ali Inference modela z našimi lastnimi podatki.

V predavnju si bomo ogledali (demonstrirali) primer vzpostavitve in konfiguriracije pogovornega agenta, podprtega z generativno umetno inteligenco in drugimi storitvami v okviru OCI. Prikazali bomo, kako vzpostaviti GenAI RAG nad dokumenti, ki se nahajajo v shrambi objektov (OCI Object Storage) in vektorsko indeksiranih v podatkovni bazi Oracle Autonomous Database 23ai, z uporabo storitve OCI Generative AI Agent Service. Z vzpostavitvijo povezave s storitvijo OCI Generative AI Agent Service prek pogovornega agenta, ki je baziran na uporabo OCI Digital Assistant in deluje v okviru OCI Visual Builder ATOM aplikacije.

Naše podjetje že dlje časa sodeluje z Nuklearno elektrarno Krško, pri čemer smo v okviru sodelovanja začeli nov projekt, ki postavlja OIC in VB v ospredje. V prvi fazi projekta smo se osredotočili na posodobitev starejših aplikacij, ki so že v uporabi, a so dostopne le prek računalnikov v internem omrežju. Cilj je omogočiti varno dostopnost teh aplikacij na mobilnih napravah, ki niso v lokalnem omrežju. Prvo takšno aplikacijo smo že implementirali, pri tem smo morali sprejeti odločitve glede dela z orodji OIC in VB. Grafični vmesnik smo prilagodili za mobilne naprave. Varnost je vedno naša najvišja prioriteta. Ključno vlogo pri varnem dostopu do obstoječih podatkov igra OIC, ki s svojim Connectivity agentom, ki omogoča varno in nadzorovano izpostavitev želenih funkcionalnosti novi (mobilni) različici aplikacije. Predstavitev bo zajemala delo z OIC in VB, razloge za izbiro teh orodij ter dobre prakse, ki smo jih uporabili. Prav tako bom delil nekaj praktičnih izkušenj in izzivov, s katerimi smo se srečali pri implementaciji.
